The Journey Began

I was fortunate enough to be born into a family that taught me the power of love. They taught me the meaning of dedication. But not with words, with actions. This photo was taken at our  24th annual family reunion, celebrating the 70th anniversary of our grandparents, Allyn and Charline Bridge. Unfortunately, they both passed in 2020, but they left quite a legacy of love.  I am very thankful to have grown up around such inspiring people.

Together We Zot

Representing the men's soccer program at the University of California, Irvine was incredible! We won two conference championships, reached the NCAA Sweet 16, and I made some of the best friends of my life. But my journey didn't end when I graduated. I have continued to stay involved with the program and look forward to watching their continued growth and success.

No Pity In The Rose City

My lifetime goal was to play professional soccer. That dream was realized in the 2011 MLS draft, when I was selected by the Portland Timbers. Although a nagging knee injury ended my career, my involvement with the MLS has continued. I am now in my 6th season as an Match Director, where I serve as an in-stadium match-day representative for the Competition Department of the MLS

Swoosh

During my two years with Nike as a Social Media Specialist, I acted as the voice of Nike Football's Twitter and Instagram account, reaching more than one million users between the two. I kept a running pulse on the feelings of our most active users, implemented campaigns,  and bridged the gap between consumer services and digital brand. And played soccer at lunch, which wasn't half bad.

Startup Life

I always wanted to get involved in a startup, so I left Nike for a small startup called Hooked. The company had six employees but was growing fast. I launched the Colorado markets,  and through a mix of digital marketing, campus events and grit, Colorado State was the fastest market to reach ten thousand users, and that was just the beginning. In one academic year, more than 40% of the campus downloaded the app.

Growth of Hooked

As the company grew, I was brought into Hooked HQ to lead the campus marketing efforts across all 35 markets. It was inspiring to work alongside such a creative team. But even more impactful was mentoring student interns all across the country. I still stay in contact with several of them and am proud each time I see them reach their goals.

Family

This is crew that raised me, and I may be bias, but I think they’re pretty darn cool. Sue is a saint of a mom who did a wonderful job raising us in a house full of love. Between her and my two big sisters, Stephanie and Paige, I have had some great role models over the years. And I am excited about the next chapter as families continue to grow. These are Paige’s kids, Ravi and Sienna. They’re curious, adventurous, and everything else you’d want in your niece and nephew.
